Maryin root is used to treat various diseases, such as: ulcers, skin diseases, hysteria, bleeding, etc. Peony root improves metabolism, helps to fight stress and fatigue, gastritis, gout, cough, epilepsy, asthma, diarrhea, insomnia; it cleanses the body of toxins and helps to restore the nervous system. In addition, maryin root promotes the production of endorphins, 'hormone of happiness', which significantly improves one's mood. Maryin root is recommended for any headaches or problems associated with the head: stroke, hypertension, concussion, epilepsy, etc. It is also considered an effective remedy for cancers, especially those related to women's health. Maryin root is used as an analgesic, tonic, anti-inflammatory and sedative medicine. Peony tincture is often advised to use in case of poisoning, as it helps to eliminate toxins and possesses bactericidal properties. An infusion or decoction of peony is used as a fixative for diarrhea and indigestion. In case of cold, a decoction of maryin root works well, with adding to it the flowers of linden, herbaceous elderberry and chamomile, as well as pussy willow bark and licorice root. An infusion has a sedative effect. Traditional medicine often uses maryin root tinctures to treat skin diseases, abscesses and erosions.
Method of use: pour 1 teaspoon of peony with a glass of boiling water and leave it for 1 hour in a warm place. Strain the infusion and take 1 tablespoon 3 times a day. It is recommended to take any form of medicine 20 minutes before meals.
